Spring is in the air, and everything from the pollen floating freely to the time changing to the mesmerizing visage of summer vacation on the horizon can cause even the best workers’ thoughts to stray. But at TempForce, we know our workforce can’t afford to let our focus ever stray too far from workplace safety.
So TempForce feels incredibly lucky to have such a safety-minded and conscientious teammate like Susan working with us. We appreciate all the hard work she puts in at Parker-Velcon Filtration in Sylacauga, and even more so the effort she puts in to always sticking to safe work habits.
First off, tell me a little bit about your job – what are your day to day responsibilities?
“I do a variety of things, like I cut material for the filters and I also operate 3 different machines.”
What’s your favorite part of your job?
“I love my team. I work with amazing co-workers!”
How do your work safe or keep your coworkers safe?
“I make sure that I have on my PPE at all times while on the job and I make sure that I keep my work environment clean.”

“Go to work every day, follow instructions and have a good attitude!”
