“Annette follows instructions very closely. She is extra precautious when using our engraving machines and goes by a step by step process to insure our products are engraved correctly. Also while running our machines Annette stays attentive in case the machine needs to be stopped. She has made my job a lot easier.”
Rusty Hill, The Supply Room
This month we send a special thank you to Annette Stacks, our long-time teammate at The Supply Room in Oxford. She’s our Safety Champion Award Winner this month!
The TempForce team is lucky enough to have Annette on board. She is one of the most hardworking, careful and tidy team members. In addition, she’s always working to stay safe and learn more to do better at her job. So we couldn’t be more appreciative of her!
First off, tell me a little bit about your job – what are your day to day responsibilities?
“I work in the Engraving department at The Supply Room. I’m learning to engrave the plastic and metal badges for the military – we clean them in acetone, paint them, dry them, and use a heat gun to seal them together.”
What’s your favorite part of your job?
“I learn how to engrave different badges and tags and train on how to use the engraving machine.”
How do your work safe or keep your coworkers safe?
“I keep my area clean and make sure to keep everything neat and organized. My department at The Supply Room is very clean and tidy always and it is the cleanest department or job I’ve ever worked at.”
You’re one of our best teammates! Any words of wisdom for other teammates looking to be as successful?
“As you go into work each day, pay attention to all areas at all times and what is around you.”
