Meet Danny Moore! Managing industrial processes and managing people can be very different things. But Danny Moore understands both very well. He was worked hard to earn the opportunity to do both, as the Production Supervisor at an Anniston area metal processing facility.
For Danny, the main job is making sure everything gets done, everything gets done on time, and everything gets done right. His main duty has become controlling the schedules of the company’s processes. Consumers trust the company with their industrial metal parts for cleaning, testing, etc.
Danny makes sure that the team gets every process done to the company’s service reputation with a 1 to 2 week turnover time on all their orders.
In scheduling, he’s working with a lot of moving parts: lots of unique processes that he has to swiftly become very familiar with. Danny admits: that’s rewarding but challenging. But he’s a natural when it comes to dealing with people.
He makes sure each team member’s time is well-spent so they can reach their full potential. With a history in management, including years supervising at Wal-Mart, he knows how to motivate people. Danny says his technique has always been positive reinforcement. He relates to people, and motivates them to understand their job, why it’s important, and how best to get the job done.
His proudest moment so far? Danny put his obvious drive and work ethic to the task when he first started. He came early in 2016 as a temporary worker. A couple of months later, he had been taken as a permanent worker, and soon after he was supervising production.
Danny’s philosophy on work is to do it right the first time, and you’ll only have to do it once. Pushing for accuracy and perfection is what makes this previous TempForce employee a Staffing Success Story. He will be considered for our Top Talent of 2016 Award and our Impact Award of 2016!
